Kitchen remodel completed

This project was completed by the time the client came back from Europe.
They were quite pleased.  The kitchen reflected the vision they were hoping for.
The original kitchen is a few blogs down, take a minute and compare.

Final phase of the kitchen remodel

It's time to pick out a paint color.  It's not unusual to have several
paint samples on the wall.  Paint can really change color from wall to wall.
Notice the paint samples to the left of the cabinets.

The refrigerator is now placed where the pantry use to be. The cabinet
above will be painted the wall color.

Countertop installation

It's been a couple of weeks to get the countertops  fabricated.  Not alot to do, but just wait.  By this time the client is really ready to move back into the kitchen. I'm lucky on this one, because the client is in Europe while this is happening.
Keep that in mind, you don't have to be around for a remodel.  There are so many ways to communicate long distance.

Notice that we don't have the refrigerator in here?
In the upper picture you can see that we put it where a pantry use to be.  Now the kitchen appears so much larger.

Cabinet installation

This is the fun part.  Seeing it all come together.
The client chose the sage color to go with the rest of her house.  Even the front door is
painted  this color. This is a very competively priced cabinet line which is a great fit for todays market.
Upper cabinets will be positioned to fit the tile perfectly.  The tile is 17" H with aluminum profiles.
I have the profile product in the studio.  Stop in when you get a chance.  It really adds flair to the tile.

Remodeled contemporary kitchen

Magic corner unit. Great for blind corners
High gloss cabinets with stainless C channels, in place of handles.
Notice the art on the wall.  Adds personality to the kitchen.
Pull out pantry. Great way to see everything at a glance.
                                                 Cabinets are sapele quartersawn wood.

Original kitchen before the tear out.

This kitchen needed a cosmetic uplift. The bar stools were
never used, and the appliances  needed replacing.
The client wanted to eliminate this bartop wall that acted as
a barrier between the kitchen and eating area.
